Tickets For the 4th Annual Happy Hollow Old-Time Music Gathering are on sale now!
The Happy Hollow Old-Time Music Gathering (formerly the Happy Hollow Hootenanny) brings musicians, dancers, makers, and old-time music lovers together for a weekend centered around the cultural traditions that have shaped Central Appalachia.
Spend your days learning from well-known old-time musicians and artisans, jamming with your pals, picking up new tunes and techniques, or simply listening and enjoying the music. In the evenings, gather for concerts, square dances, and jams around the community campfires.

Weekend Passes are just $30, with camping available for an additional $30 per person. Kids and Teens 18 and under attend free. Volunteer and scholarship opportunities are also available.
VOLUNTEER
Attendees can volunteer for one 2-hour shift to receive a Weekend Pass, and an additional 2-hour shift will earn a Camping Pass. Volunteers of all experience levels are welcome in every area, including site prep, setup and teardown, admissions, camping and parking, and merch.
Apply for a scholarship
As part of Stuart’s efforts to make our events accessible to all, residents of Athens County who are unable to volunteer but still hope to attend may apply for a scholarship to receive Weekend and Camping Passes. Applications are due by the end of day on September 10, 2026.
